Final Piece

Here is a video of the final piece I produced for this unit of coursework. It is a one of a kind hand made piece inspired by the style of drawing and linked to the folding technique from Joakim Ojanen's Limo-Zine but the subject for it was music festivals. I think the style of drawing all works really well and is consistent throughout the piece. I am also pleased with how I have managed to join the three pieces of paper I used almost seamlessly and how my slip cover all fits together so well. However doing these two things wasn't easy it took time and a lot of measuring to get everything to fit together properly. Another thing I struggled with at first was the folding of the continuous drawing, I couldn't get it all to line up perfectly until I had the idea or measuring out identical sections for each 'page' and then scoring down the edges of each of the pages. this made the folding much neater and easier. If I was to produce this piece again with more time I think the only things I would change would be to take more time to make all the drawings as neat as possible and maybe even do more of them to make the finished piece longer.
