This is a video of a continuous book I made using fineliner to draw the contents and I made a small cover for it also. To make the cover I first folded a piece of corrugated card to the correct size of the cover I needed, I then covered it in brown paint using a sponge because this created a leathery effect which tied in with the skyrim style, medieval drawings inside. After all this was done I printed off a title and a logo for the front of the book and put it all together. This book involved experimenting with a few different processes such as the leather effect and the three different thicknesses of pen used for the drawing and also the making of a book cover. I did find some limitations with these processes such as the drawings could not include colour because it took away from the style of fineliner drawing I was looking for. I also found that I was limited to the quality of drawing and overall length of the piece because of time. One other limitation I discovered was that a cover also limited the length of the work because when it was all folded up it would take up a lot of space in terms of the depth of the spine of the book. This was what then lead onto the idea of producing a slip cover for the work so I wasn't so limited on the length of the drawing.
