I created this piece using a mixture of watercolour, crayon and felt tip for the inside. For the cover I covered a piece of card in newspaper and then used a font that resembles and old fashioned label maker for the title. I refined the different layers of this piece over a period of time because of all the different techniques used. I either needed to let paint dry or let ink/wax dry out completely before I could add another layer. I wanted to add so many layers because I had an idea of the piece looking really busy and experimental when I had finished.
