I first drew some simple pictures using a fine liner and coloured them in using coloured pencils. I also made sure the lines were thick and simple to make the stencil creating easier.
These are the stencils I made. I photocopied my favourite drawing three times and cut out a different one of the three colours on each copy.
This is the original three layered print I did. It still has the blank spaces where I left bridges.
This is the finished print which I edited using photoshop. I just used the brush tool to touch up the bridges.
